I Don’t Want To Take Medications. Must I Pay The Same?
Yes, patients who are not taking weight loss medications are charged the same as patients who are taking medication. Prescription amounts vary from patient to patient, therefore the fee is averaged for all patients. Many times, patients who do not take prescription weight loss medications are not taking them because they are considered higher risk, more complicated patients. Therefore, their office visits require more time and expertise. Much of the costs built into the program are for physician expertise, skill and time.
